Entries will close at 11 am Thursday 1/31/13

Open to registered quarter horses only. The class will be run in a two round hunter classic format, with jumps at 3’0” in height, with three or four jumps at 3’3”. The fences will include some natural jumps that would be found in a huntfield.

The first round will be judged in an open numerical score format, with at least three option jumps. A 1 point bonus will be received for each harder option that is taken. The top 15 finishers from the first round will return for a second round that will be a Handy Hunter round with at least three option jumps in the course. The second round will be scored with an open numerical format, with 1 bonus point for each harder option that is taken. Additionally, up to 10 bonus points will be given based on the level of handiness executed during the Handy Hunter round. All the scores and bonus points from both rounds will be used to determine the winner. The class will follow AQHA working hunter rules.
